Please use this list for my class instead of the list supplied by the school district. There were some items from the district supply list that were not used in past years.

Supplies:

*Please put these supplies in your child’s crayon box so it can be ready for the first day:

1 box of crayons, scissors, 2 sharpened pencils, and 1 glue stick.

Label These Items with Your Child's Name:

• Backpack – large enough to hold a folder, no book bags on wheels please
• 1 plastic pencil box (with the above items placed inside please)
• 1 child size Fiskar scissors
• 4 boxes of 24 Crayola crayons
• 2 Folders (plastic preferred)
• 1 change of clothes in case of accidents (place in Ziplock bag)
• Towel or mat for rest time. Please no pillows or blankets.
• Coloring or activity book for rest time

No Need to Label:

• 20 glue sticks (these will be placed in bags with your child's name on it so any that are left over at the end of the year will be returned)
• 24 yellow pencils – sharpened
• Girls- clear packing tape (dispenser not necessary)
• Boys- gallon, quart or sandwich sized zip lock bags (no snack sized please)
• 6 pack Expo markers (any color)

Parents, please explain to your child that TOYS WILL NOT be allowed in school. I have found that toys either end up stolen, lost or broken. They also tend to distract students from learning.
