Classroom Management

Rules:

We will keep our hands, feet, body and objects to ourselves.

2. We will work and play quietly.

3. We will be respectful to others.

4. We will listen to all teachers and follow directions.

5. We will do our best!

Explanation:

Each student has a cactus labeled with his/her name, and begins each day at ready to learn.

Green- Ready to Learn

Yellow- Think about it, miss 5 minutes of recess, talk with teacher

Red- Conference with the teacher, owe 10 minutes of recess. Your child may be asked to sit out of an activity.

Write Up- Parent Contact

In severe instances, a child may receive a black card/discipline report without going through all of the colors. They would be sent to the office and phone call will be made.

Positive Rewards:

Magnetic Letters- whenever we work as a team, we will earn one or more letters to spell different prizes. In the past, we have earned a movie, extra recess, dress up days, & ice cream parties just ot name a few! The kids will help me create a list at the beginning of the year on things we want to earn.

Hawk Pride Tickets- these are tickets given out every time an individual student makes a positive choice or helps another kiddo. Students can turn these tickets in to earn prizes from the Hawk Pride Cart. Prizes change every quarter.

Student Spotlight- Every student will be featured on our Facebook page with a positive blurb about themselves. It's a fun chance to see what I think of each kid and share the positivity with others!

Green Cards- These can be turned in to me every Friday. Kids can chose prizes out of the 5, 10 or 20 drawer. Please keep these cards in a labeled plastic baggie in your child's book bag or folder.
