Teacher Info

My name is Lindsay Sonntag. I have been teaching for 20 years and this is my 7th year teaching in the Hillsboro School District. I teach a wide variety of English courses for the district, and I am excited to be a Hawk!

To answer the great St. Louis area question...I graduated from Lutheran South High School in St. Louis. After graduation, I attended Truman State University where I graduated with a Bachelors in English. From there I attended Northwest Missouri State University and the University of Missouri Columbia (MIZZOU) and graduated from both receiving a Masters in English Education and a Masters in Literacy Education respectively.

I am married and have 2 children who are students in the Junior High & High School in the district under the watchful & trustworthy eyes of Mr. Allison & Mr. Groner. I like to spend my free time with my family watching movies and Big Brother (our favorite TV show), reading books, and editing student papers...

I am honored to be teaching your class this year. I enjoy getting to spend time with y'all every day and getting to know each and every one of you. Make no mistake, I am there to teach you, but I learn from you all just as much.
