Mythology

This is the main page for HHS's Mythology class. In this course, students will focus on how the Greek and Roman gods and goddesses impacted not only culture and history but also the literature of the time. Students will also learn the role this literature has played – and continues to play – in society as we know it.

Course Description:

Mythology in Literature is considered a college preparatory class for advanced sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Students will continue to expand their knowledge and skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Students will read and/or evaluate a variety of fiction and non-fiction related to the Mythology of the Greek and Roman cultures. Students will study vocabulary and use the writing process to compose a variety of writing.
