Step 2 - EL Action Team
EL SSP Form - Required for all ELs prior to considering a possible referral to SST (step 3). Much of the information can be completed during steps 1 and 2. The purpose is to assure that school personnel have collected all pertinent information available in order to determine if a referral for Special Education is warranted.

EL Action Team Checklist - Required to be completed and brought to SST Meeting
Cultural & Linguistic Assessments:
(SC) Sociocultural Checklist (required) concerns about learning and/or behavior.
(RC) Resiliency Checklist (required) uses a strengths-based approach to support instructional decision-making.
(AQS) Acculturation Quickscreen (required) assesses the rate and level of acculturation to a new US school environment.
Gap Finder (assesses LTEL language gaps) (Make a copy prior to a student completing the assessment.)
