The basics will include syncing assignments with Google Classroom, exploring various question types, providing teacher feedback, transforming old worksheets into online assignments, and navigating the improved layout. Some of the newer features we will discuss are embedding questions within a video, setting up & grading with rubrics, tracking progress towards standards, finding existing assignments in the online library, and improved math tools.

SEL as a Lever for Equity
In this session, attendees will review Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) frameworks and learn about practical tools for systematically integrating SEL in their classroom and school community to improve outcomes for students who have been traditionally marginalized. We will focus on obtaining greater equity for our students by successfully implementing SEL through tiered systems, with a focus on addressing the needs of the whole child through a culturally responsive lens. Participants will leave with a vision for how SEL can help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all students.
