SEL Classes (Social/Emotional Learning)

In the school year 2022-23, SEL had been taught to Kindergarten, First, and Second grade classes as a Special. Recognizing the importance of all classes being taught this content in an integrated manner to strengthen school climate, in the 2025-26 school year, Ms. Leslie will be teaching SEL to each classroom grades K - 6.

We believe that by proactively teaching, practicing, and reinforcing social and emotional skills, we will not only avoid many behavioral challenges, but help foster a sense of safety and belonging school-wide that will enable all students to thrive personally and academically.
