***Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) has many programs that provide financial assistance:

• SNAP (Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program - formerly "food stamps") and 

• EA (Economic Assistance - also called "cash assistance")

Everyone has the right to apply to see if they are eligible...

or in person (DTA office location is dependent on where you live. All offices are open Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm):
