Each year the graduating class will recognize two outstanding individuals for the HHS Hall of Fame Award at their graduation ceremony. Community members, friends, and family are encouraged to nominate a worthy eligible candidate to be considered for this year's award by March 1st. Previous nominees along with current year submissions will be reviewed and two will be selected by the class. The nominees will be honored at the current year graduation ceremony held each May at the Hennessey Public School Eagle Event Center.
The HHS Hall of Fame is a way of honoring those former graduates and teachers of Hennessey Schools who have excelled in a career, contributed to society, and been an inspiration to present students, alumni, and community residents. Our goal is to honor individuals no longer associated with the Hennessey school system that have enriched their surroundings.
Eligibility Requirements:
The nominee must have graduated at least 5 years ago; and
They must have attended HHS at least four (4) semesters;
-AND/OR-
The nominee must be a former Hennessey Public Schools faculty, staff, or administrator; and
They must be retired from the education profession and have been employed at Hennessey Public Schools for at least five (5) years.
Candidates that have been previously nominated along with any new nomination submissions will be considered for this year’s inductees. Nomination forms and eligibility rules are posted and may be printed or printed copies can be picked up at the Hennessey High School Office.
