HHS Honors Coursework - AP and other rigorous courses designated as honors will earn additional credit toward the weighted student GPA. Honor Program Graduates with a weighted GPA at or above 4.0 will earn the status of Valedictorian.

Advanced Placement - Many colleges and universities award college credit to high school students who successfully complete Advanced Placement (AP) courses and pass the corresponding AP exams.
HHS offers Advanced Placement in AP Literature and US History. Students must take honors (Pre-AP) English in grades 10 & 11 in order to enroll in AP English Lit.
