Program History

The Highlander Summer Swim Team was initially developed with 3 purposes:

• Serve the Park Cities community (ages 5+) by providing water safety resources and a recreational aquatics experience to the community

• Provide a consistent feeder program to the HPISD Aquatics programs that aligns with the mission and vision of HPISD Aquatics

• Provide current HPHS athletes that may not be willing to commit to a USA Swimming team with a competitive training program during the summer months

In the summer of 2025, we began the process of developing and growing our program! And in the summer of 2026, we look forward to continuing the trend of providing a safe, community driven program committed to reaching all athletes where they are!
