Fa Yuen Street in Mong Kok is also known as ‘Sneakers Street’ due to the big selection of sneakers and sports goods on offer. It’s a great place to check out cheap local street food, like fish balls, bubble tea and smelly tofu. Noisy and busy, it is hard to picture it as a field of flowers outside Mong Kok Village, which it was a hundred years ago.
