Getting good quality sleep. The Ministry of Health recommends students have between 8-10 hours of sleep each night. Getting sufficient rest will energise your brain power - your thoughts will be clearer, and your emotions stable. This means NO all nighters before the exam!
Healthy eating. It might sound cliche, but eating a balanced and nutritious diet will also boost your energy significantly for your studying and help you feel more prepared when the exam comes. Hunger makes you tense, which could negatively impact your performance. So, eat!
Do things that you enjoy. Don't neglect your hobbies and passions when you're studying for a big exam, they can actually help you! Switching your focus from studying your material for a couple of hours prevents stress and overthinking, helping you feel more relaxed, confident, and at ease.
Get moving. In your study breaks, try to get as much movement in as possible. Go for a walk, play a sport, do a gym class, and then return to your work feeling refreshed and energised!
