Fidelity Monitoring

Interventions should be structured, consistent, and focused. Fidelity Monitoring helps to ensure that students are receiving effective interventions on a daily basis.

Fidelity is the accuracy or extent to which materials and other curricula are used as intended by the author/publisher. (Are we doing the intervention as it was intended? Amount of time, size of group, etc.) Principals, RTI school coordinators, the RTI district coordinator, and other personnel complete regular fidelity checks of all RTI intervention groups.
