Hello Kindergartners! Welcome to Mark Twain Elementary!
My name is Mr. Chris and I will be your Outdoor Science teacher this year. Most classrooms are inside the building but this classroom is special because it is outside in the garden!
Do you like to be outside? If you like to climb trees, catch lizards, or learn to grow plants, then you will probably really like this class!
We are going to learn about all sorts of plants and animals this year. We are going to take care of the outdoor classroom, we will turn the compost, look for worms, count the gold fish, and try to identify all the birds that we see.
I love nature and I hope you do too!
I want to take you on a tour of the outdoor classroom, soon we will watch a video tour.
Before we do that, I want you to know that we are very excited to have you at Mark Twain. If you ever need anything, you can find me and I can help you.
