An eighth‑grader and first‑year staffer, Sophia serves as a Managing Editor, where she helps keep her team on track, supports staffers with editing, and balances her own assignments along the way. 

“I joined journalism because I was interested in making the yearbook but also capturing memories,” she said. 

Outside the newsroom, Sophia loves hanging out with friends and is passionate about swimming especially tanning, staying active, and being in the water.
