Brandy Vaughan passed away on December 7, 2020 in Santa Barbara. Brandy is survived by her son, the love of her life. Brandy graduated from UCSB with a degree in Bio-chemistry & Political Science. She spent many years living in Europe. Brandy was a loving mother and passionate activist for natural health. She founded Learn The Risk and served as Executive Director. In this role, she traveled extensively speaking at numerous educational events, rallies, and symposiums and has been featured in various media channels.
Brandy will be remembered by her groundbreaking work for the vaccine education movement, her passion for children, animals and natural living, and her dedication to uncovering the truth and speaking out against corporate interests. She will be deeply missed by her family, loving friends, and her global community. While she left us way too soon, she lived life passionately, spending her free time with her son and friends at the beach, on the slopes, and exploring and traveling the world.

Eric Gladen, an engineer who suffered from mercury poisoning after a tetanus shot in 2004, embarked on a multi-year journey to find out what happened and why, sifting through dozens of medical studies that go back decades. This led to the movie, which has been years in the making. "My primary objective with this film is to elevate the perception of mercury as a neurotoxin," he said, that's far worse than lead.
Gladen said he isn't anti-vaccine, something he notes up front in the film. He just wants Thimerosal out of all vaccines. He said in 2003, inexplicably, the CDC began recommending a flu vaccine with Thimerosal in it not only to infants but also to pregnant woman. "Thimerosal is hitting those least able to excrete it," he said. He said this is causing autism rates to rise although most vaccines are safe.
His conclusion: "This turned from gross negligence to a crime against humanity. This is not a conspiracy. This is real. I looked at the emails, the closed-door meeting transcripts... The CDC needs to be on the hot seat. They need to answer to this."

“Trace Amounts” follows Eric Gladen as he searches for the truth after suffering a severe reaction to a tetanus vaccine at age 29. He finds that these reactions are far more common than most realize and have wreaked havoc on the health of Americans. Eric discovers a myriad of deceptions within the U.S. healthcare industry and the government, that prove our vaccine program is more about profit than public health.
Throughout his two-year journey into the depths of the U.S. vaccine program, Eric interviews many healthcare experts including doctors, researchers and health officials as well as families with children that suffer from the same reaction as Eric did – mercury poisoning from vaccines. He uncovers the many lies portrayed as truth to the American public. He questions why pharmaceutical companies are allowed to continue putting mercury – and other known heavy metals and toxins – into vaccines that are then passed off as safe, when there is clear scientific evidence that shows these additives are linked with neurological disabilities, autoimmune diseases and even cancer.
“Trace Amounts” is an extremely important film as mandatory vaccination laws are being proposed throughout the country. One of the strictest vaccination laws in the country, SB277, was signed into law by Governor Brown in June, eliminating all personal belief and religious exemptions. It requires a full 35 vaccine doses, including vaccines for non-communicable diseases like tetanus, before children are allowed to enter public or private school. Also under SB277, children will not be allowed to attend preschool or daycare without being up-to-date on the full schedule of vaccinations – selective or delayed vaccination will not be allowed.
With the passage of SB277, California joins two other states – Mississippi and West Virginia – that enforce the strictest vaccination laws in the country. These two states also have some of the highest rates of infant mortality as well as other childhood diseases and disabilities including SIDs, allergies, autoimmune issues, autism, speech delays, ADHD, type-1 diabetes, leukemia and asthma. SB277 puts Californian children at risk of following suit as the childhood vaccine schedule continually increases and as more toxins are used within the vaccines as adjuvants and preservatives.
With 53 recommended vaccines doses by kindergarten, the U.S. already leads the world with the most intensive vaccination schedule, giving 2-3 times more vaccines to its children than other developed countries. The U.S. gives 26 vaccine doses before age one, yet has the highest infant mortality in the developed world (despite spending more on healthcare per capita than any other country).
Currently under California law, children who actually carry diseases such as Hepatitis and HIV are allowed in public and private school and cannot be discriminated based on their health conditions. Yet children who are healthy, and do not carry these diseases will not be allowed in either public or private school. This infringes on the rights of Californian children to free public education without discrimination, as per the California Constitution. Discrimination includes discrimination based on health status.
Vaccines have never been studied for safety in combination, yet 6-9 doses are routinely given during childhood doctor visits. Many vaccine additives, such as aluminum, MSG and formaldehyde, have been repeatedly linked to neurotoxicity, auto-immune diseases and cancer. Currently in the U.S., vaccines are the only product that has complete liability protection, meaning if you or your child is injured or killed by a vaccine, you cannot sue the vaccine maker.
While SB277 targets children and their fundamental right to a free public education, lawmakers are also planning mandatory vaccination laws that will apply to college students, hospital workers, school staff and, eventually, the entire adult population.

I believe Brandy is being intimidated like this because she is a former Merck employee, which gives her added legitimacy as an activist when she speaks out against mandatory vaccines and questions their safety (and is a definite embarrassing black eye for Merck). Hi everybody. It’s my first time at the CDC, but I’m sure some of you know me very well. I used to work for Merck, and now I speak out against the dangers that the pharmaceutical companies don’t tell you about pharmaceutical drugs and vaccines. So, when I was trained at Merck, which was a very intense training, we were told that all drugs go through a gold standard process, which is double-blind, placebo-based, long-term studies. Well, for vaccines, as most of you know in here, they don’t have to go through that process because they are categorized differently. So, what’s happening is we’re seeing a lot of these vaccines being put on to the market and our children are test subjects. Right now, we’re seeing almost half of all children with a chronic illness. If you look at the studies, the independent studies that are not funded by the pharmaceutical companies that fill this room, you will see 1000 studies, more than 1000 studies, showing the harm of the vaccines that are released on market without proper testing. So, I ask that when you’re considering the immunization schedules today, that you really take a step back, because our children and adults—you know, in the US we’ve never been sicker. Our health is suffering. I have done a lot of research on the difference between injection and ingestion. This is something that the pharmaceutical companies will never tell you, but anything injection goes straight into the circulation. It goes to vital organs. There is a great study on aluminum which shows that 95+ percent is absorbed in the body tissues. When you eat something, when you drink something, when you inhale something, 95% of that is filtered out through our body’s natural detox processes. So, anything you inject is going to be far, far more dangerous and far more potent. What’s happening now is because the pharmaceutical industry—it’s a saturated drug market and it’s expensive. There’s liability. Unfortunately, there is no liability for vaccine makers with vaccines. So, you’re seeing all of these new vaccines in development, almost 300, because if they can call it a vaccine, they can a) inject the body with toxins and make them far more potent and create further health issues that sell the drugs that make them the most powerful industry in the world, and b) we’re seeing them without liability and they go through the committee here. I sat this morning and I was disturbed, and I have watched this on the television on live stream before, but I was really disturbed. Doctors were asking about safety signals and when safety information is going to be available. The answer is always like 5 sentences that distract with no real answers. “Well, enough people have to be hurt by the vaccine before we will know if it’s safe.” “Enough people have to die from the vaccine before we’ll know it’s safe.” It’s not acceptable, because the American population pays really good tax dollars to make sure that this committee is not biased, and to make sure that this committee is putting the people of America before the profits of the pharmaceutical industry. I saw first-hand when I sold Vioxx for Merck that these agencies, including CDC and the FDA, are not doing their job anymore. So, I ask you today, when you consider these recommendations, consider all of the children, and the adults, and all the pregnant women that are going to suffer because of your vote, because there may be a lot of money backing these recommendations from the pharmaceutical industry, but you are beholden to the American people. Please, don’t forget your mission. Thank you.

With heavy hearts, we share our sadness at the loss of friend and colleague, Brandy Vaughn, who passed away on December 7, 2020, in Santa Barbara, California, reportedly from gallbladder complications, a medical issue that she privately struggled with throughout 2020.
Brandy, a former Merck pharmaceutical representative, founded Learn The Risk in response to one of the nation’s first mandatory vaccination for education laws — SB277 in California.
After leaving the pharmaceutical industry, Brandy spent eight years living in Europe where she saw how healthcare is handled very differently from here in the U.S. She gave birth to her son Bastien while she was overseas.
Brandy then spent several years researching vaccine ingredients and the risks of vaccinating versus not vaccinating. Brandy chose to raise her son without chemical interference, as in her words, “You owe it to your child to do your own research and not just believe everything you’re told, especially when it’s only one side of the story — the one that prioritizes profit over your child’s health.”
Brandy travelled the world educating people at numerous events, rallies and symposiums. She truly was an inspirational shining light. We admired her passion, ferocity, fortitude, honesty and especially her amazing knowledge and fearlessness in debating anyone, anywhere, at any time.
Brandy is survived by her 9-year old son, Bastien, the love of her life. Bastien will join his grandparents and father in France shortly.
Brandy was a true warrior, a great mother and a revolutionary. The world lost a great angel and our movement will never be the same without her.

The sudden death of a prominent anti-vaccination activist has led to a police probe.
Brandy Vaughan, 45, was found dead on December 7 by her 9-year-old son in the family's California home.
On Monday, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office announced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
"The decedent has been positively identified and the death is believe [sic] to be a result of natural causes based on an autopsy exam conducted last week," Santa Barbara County Sheriff Public Information Officer Raquel Zick said in a statement. "The final cause and manner of death determination are pending toxicology screening which normally takes 4-6 weeks."
Vaughan, a former Merck pharmaceutical representative, was an outspoken critic of mandatory vaccinations and pharmaceutical companies.
She founded non-profit organization Learn The Risk in a bid to educate people "on the dangers of pharmaceutical products, including vaccines and unnecessary medical treatments," according to its website.
A fundraising website set up by close friend Tina Marie describes Vaughan as an "amazing warrior" and "loving mom."
"This past Thanksgiving Brandy, her son, and their dog took a road trip to come spend the holiday with our family," Marie wrote. "We enjoyed an amazing dinner, played games, and laughed together into the wee hours of the night. She told me that this is what she always dreamed of for her son, to be part of a large family enjoying time together... and wanted me to raise him for her, if anything should happen to her (as she had asked multiple times in the past). This last time that she asked was exactly 8 days before her passing."
The Santa Barbara resident and UC Santa Barbara alum once worked for Merck pharmaceutical as a sales representative for Vioxx, a painkiller eventually taken off the market.
Vaughan "never meant to take on the world's most powerful industry" her website reads, but "felt she had no choice when the industry's agenda to keep us all sick began to spiral out of control."
"From that experience, I realized that just because something is on the market doesn't mean it's safe," Vaughan writes. "Much of what we are told by the healthcare industry just simply isn't the truth."
In a Facebook post dated December 4 of 2019, Vaughan asks: "Ever wonder why I speak out against Big Pharma and suffer the major consequences? Because I will fight for my son and humanity and I will educate people on pharmaceutical product dangers until my last breath!"
Newsweek has contacted the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office for comment.

A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said in a statement that investigators won’t determine the cause of Vaughn’s death until the completion of a pending toxicology screening, a process that normally takes 4 – 6 weeks.
Brandy’s death was originally reported as resulting from gallbladder complications. But many of her friends and co-activists in the vaccine safety movement suspect foul play. Those suspicions have gained traction due to a wave of mysterious deaths — many of them violent —among alternative and integrative medical doctors in recent years. In response to this trend, Brandy made a Facebook post almost exactly a year before her death in which she said, “If something were to happen to me, I have arranged for a close group of my friends … to hire a team of private investigators to figure out all the details …”

- There’s no way anyone could get into my house, no robbers, no angry exes (which I don’t have btw), no fanatical people — my house is like Fort Knox…unless it was someone super professional. It just wouldn’t be possible for anyone without highly special equipment and tactics (I.e. remotely taking down my high-level security system, which they have done before, unfortunately). But my place is also highly secure in a hard-wired kinda way. So even if the power was out, most people could still never get in.
- If something were to happen to me, it’s foul play and you know exactly who and why — given my work and mission in this life. I’m also NOT accident prone. And I got the highest health rating possible when I went through a battery of medical tests a couple of years ago for my life insurance policy.
- If something were to happen to me, I have arranged for a close group of my friends to start a GoFundMe to hire a team of private investigators to figure out all the details (I have the team and have passed the info on to them). Oh, and money for a PR firm to make It national news. There would be a press release sent to every journalist in this country (and more). It would not be swept under the rug, and it would be their worst nightmare.
- There have been many on this mission or a similar one that have been killed and it’s time this bullshit stopped. The darkness cannot win.

Brandy had followed the stories of a number of natural health physicians and activists who, like herself, were outspoken critics of Big Pharma, and who had died suddenly and in some cases mysteriously.
A former Merck pharmaceutical representative, Brandy founded Learn The Risk in response to one of the nation’s first mandatory vaccination for education laws — SB277 in California.
After leaving the pharmaceutical industry, Brandy spent eight years living in Europe where she saw how healthcare is handled in nations less corrupted by the Pharmaceutical paradigm. She gave birth to her son Bastien while overseas.
Brandy then spent several years researching vaccine ingredients and the risks of vaccinating versus not vaccinating. Brandy chose to raise her son without chemical interference, as in her words, “You owe it to your child to do your own research and not just believe everything you’re told, especially when it’s only one side of the story — the one that prioritizes profit over your child’s health.”

Santa Barbara’s coroner concluded that nationally renowned anti-vax activist Brandy Vaughan died at age 44 of natural causes on December 7 at her Santa Barbara home on East Sola Street.
Vaughan, who attended UC Santa Barbara, was a former pharmaceutical representative who would start two organizations highly critical of Big Pharma and the mandatory vaccination of school-aged children as a requirement to attend school. According to the Coroner’s report, Vaughan died of bilateral pulmonary thromboembolus, otherwise known as a blood clot in an artery. Emergency medical responders tried to revive Vaughan after her 9-year-old son discovered her body, but without success.
Police investigators determined there was no sign of foul play, but due to Vaughan’s high profile in the anti-vaccination movement, Coroner’s officials opted to give her death more careful scrutiny to head off the potential proliferation of conspiracy theories. Her remains were subjected to an autopsy, “an in-depth panel of toxicology screenings, interviews,” and a review of her medical record.
Vaughan had reportedly only recently moved back to Santa Barbara at the time of her death. In her speeches, she highlighted her experience as a sales executive for the Merck pharmaceutical company and claimed to have sold Vioxx, a painkiller that was eventually removed from the market when it was determined to be unsafe. That experience taught Vaughan to be distrustful of corporate and government studies showing pharmaceutical products to be safe.
Vaughan broadened her critique to encompass the health-care industry as a whole, questioning why the United States spends more on health care than any other country and still has more sick people. Her conclusion was that the health-care system makes money only when people are sick.
To that end, she started an anti-vaccine group in 2015 called Learn the Risk, which underwrote a billboard campaign throughout parts of the United States claiming that vaccines kill children. These billboards aroused serious concern from medical health professionals asserting there was little to no evidence to substantiate Vaughan’s claims. She strenuously opposed a state bill passed in 2017 that required proof of vaccination for students to attend public or private schools.
Within the anti-vaxxer movement, Vaughan had emerged as a charismatic Joan of Arc figure, and her death had been the subject of considerable suspicion by many skeptical about the competence and intentions of the Centers for Disease Control and other governmental health institutions. Her death had been seized upon as a subject of much note and discussion by anti-mask protesters who marched down State Street — without masks — shortly before Christmas last year.
At the time of her death, Vaughan had reportedly suffered an attack to her gallbladder severe enough to cause her to black out.

For months we have heard a false narrative as to the cause of the death of Brandy Vaughan. Time and again we have been told that her death was the result of gallbladder disease. We now know based on the public report of the Santa Barbara coroner that the cause of death is reported as bilateral pulmonary thromboembolism, no mention of anything gallbladder related.
Basically, she had blood clots in both lungs.
Sadly a secret “inner circle” offered this false death by gallbladder narrative from day one, a few even spamming her non-profit’s page “Learn the Risk” within hours of her death, stating factually that she died from known gallbladder disease. The cause of death was not gall bladder disease.
Meanwhile the president of Learn the Risk (who Brandy left in charge of all of her affairs, and who was with her days before her death) and Brandy’s confidant, plus Brandy’s trusted treasurer of Learn the Risk (two different people) told me they had never heard of any gallbladder complaints either. Her best friend from childhood who helped deliver her only son said the same. Furthermore, her personal physician came forward immediately to debunk a history of any complaints of her gallbladder.
This shocking revelation begs the question why the need to dupe, deceive, and defraud the public into believing within hours of her being found dead that her death was the result of gallbladder disease. How hurtful for her close friends, family and followers, not to mention her little boy who will forever more read these internet stories and wonder “if only Mommy would have gone to a doctor all those years for her gallbladder disease that killed her” (which was false).
We have always maintained that we don’t know the cause of death and we should wait until autopsy results are in before spreading false rumors that have harmed so many.
A source very close to the investigation said to me today “Fools rush in where the angels fear to tread.”
Rest in peace to my dear friend and fellow warrior Brandy Vaughan, who we miss so much and gave the respect to wait for the autopsy results before spreading false information that has hurt her legacy and will forever more haunt her son with these stories that will sadly float around the internet forever and did not do Brandy justice.
PS I knew this information weeks ago definitively, but embargoed it until authorities released the information today. Health Nut News kept this secret in deference to Brandy’s only son (and only child) out of respect for him. I hope those who spread false rumors will forthwith offer their apology to him.
PPS. A private investigation with licensed professionals already hired will continue in order to honor the written wishes and directive of Brandy (which was publicly posted by her on her Facebook page Dec 2019) as there has been suspicious activity surrounding her sudden death.

Brandy Vaughan was found dead by her young son Bastien. We, and many others believe it was foul play to silence her.
She publicly raised awareness about pharmaceutical companies out for profit - not health. She had tens of thousands of followers throughout the world, and many, including us, are questioning the nature of her death.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Officetold Carers Want Competence page they are "investigating Brandy's death", and that "part of the investigation - is determining if the death is suspicious".
But are they actually taking orders from influential people?. Is their 'investigation' just going through the motions? We would hope that the 'investigation' is thorough enough to ask the right questions to the right people.
I've spoken to Brandy on occasions when we were supporting Tom Evans about baby Alfie, and I know how strong this lady was.
She was consistently bullied by these companies. Brandy knew they had every intention of silencing her and I believe they have used the most extreme tactics to do so.

Officer Raquel Zick said that Coroners Detectives are conducting an investigation into her death and that it's "believed to be a result of 'natural causes' based on an autopsy exam conducted". The final cause and manner of death determination are pending toxicology screening. No way was this 'natural causes' !!

Editor's Note (12/9/2020): I have known this information for several hours, but did not go public until after I saw Dr. Shannon Kroner [see https://www.instagram.com/drshankron/p/DFhNKycxJ7b/ ] write a public announcement about it after she had hung up with Brandy's only child, her surviving son who is a minor. I wanted to make sure that her tragic death had been announced publicly before I published my article. May she rest in peace. I've had the pleasure of meeting Brandy Vaughan several times. She spoke nonstop about her best friend Tina Marie. Tina explains that Brandy said that if anything ever happened to her she would want Tina to help take care of her only child. Her son Bastien.
