Once you have completed your own watercolour paintings from your drawings, you are going to choose some tutorials to work through
Pick the ones that are at a level that is either comfortable to you or that you want to challenge yourself with.

Watercolour flowers botanical drawing - I am going to cast an image of a flower on the TV and I want you to draw the outline of this in pencil on your paper.
We are going to look into breaking down parts of a flower at the start of each lesson looking at the artist Kate Kyehyun Park
First, we are going to watch the techniques video and create our own techniques page to do them on.
Secondly, we are going to watch the Unity video and have a go at doing this with watercolours
Drawing a flower or a bunch of flowers - just the outline - as realistically and as lightly as you can. We are going to be photocopying these onto paint paper to paint.
After we complete our flower, we are first going to practice layering using this video tutorial.
We are then going to do the same thing with our drawings.

The first thing we are going to do is the same landscape altogether. You can follow through the slides at your own pace. Once you have had a really decent go at this and learnt some new skills, you can then pick your own Aotearoa landscape to try it with.
