One student wanted to explore the skills they had learned throughout their English and creative writing courses. They used their time to work with one of their previous English teachers to revise the first draft of the novel that they wrote. At the end of the experience, the student had their fully edited manuscript.
"For my senior capstone project, I will build on my academic interests of art history and history as well as my personal interest in film. Each week I will start by researching a director. Throughout the week I will watch a few of their most influential films and do research on their influences, style, and creative aspects. After doing research, I will create the section of the visual journal for each film and director which will condense all the research and observations I find. The visual journal will include images of film stills, drawings, and other relevant media."Â

"My proposed project is to create a public YouTube channel that shares town history and local fishing stories as I fish around Hopkinton. The videos will share and preserve stories of Hopkinton's history and local folktale as I commentate over footage of fishing at different locations. My proposed project will offer viewers a history lesson while also giving a people a peaceful view of local sceneries."
