Session Types
The conference offers two types of sessions to optimize learning and engagement:
Type 1 – Papa Hula: These 2-hour classes provide in-depth instruction, ensuring ample time for technique, storytelling, and movement refinement.
Type 2 – Mele, Oli, and Other: These 1-hour classes focus on mele, oli, and related topics, offering just enough time to grasp key elements while maintaining flexibility.
This dual-track approach allows participants to move efficiently between classes, maximizing your learning experience and gaining a well-rounded understanding of hula, mele, and cultural practices.
