Moananui School of Arts is a Pacific-centered conservatory dedicated to artistic mastery, cultural stewardship, and transformative learning, preparing students to positively shape the world.
We envision Moananui School of Arts as a world-class Pacific-centered conservatory where generations of artists and leaders emerge with exceptional skill, cultural grounding, and the courage to shape a more just, creative, and connected world.
At Moananui School of Arts, artistic mastery is cultivated through disciplined practice, creative exploration, and performance-based learning. Students develop technical precision, expressive confidence, and ensemble collaboration across Pacific arts traditions. Through repetition, critique, and refinement, learners grow into skilled artists who honor both craft and culture.
Cultural stewardship means understanding, honoring, and carrying forward the knowledge and traditions of Moananui. Students engage deeply with Pacific histories, values, language, and protocol, developing a strong sense of identity and responsibility. They learn not only to perform culture, but to protect, perpetuate, and represent it with integrity.
Transformative learning at Moananui goes beyond skill-building—it shapes character, leadership, and worldview. Through immersive, experiential education, students discover their voice, strengthen resilience, and develop the confidence to lead with purpose. This holistic approach prepares them to positively shape their communities and contribute meaningfully to the world.
Moananui School of Arts Summer Programming offers an immersive, Pacific-centered experience where students engage in artistic training, cultural exploration, and creative collaboration. Through daily studio practice and performance preparation, learners develop skill, confidence, and cultural grounding in a dynamic and supportive environment. Open to all community students, our summer programs provide meaningful, hands-on learning that culminates in a public showcase celebrating student growth and achievement.
