Be a Library Book Fairy!

Become a Ho'okele Library Book Fairy by donating new books to our library collection for all students to enjoy using our library's Amazon Wish List. Your donation helps our library and makes a huge impact on reading joy for our students. Being a Library Book Fairy is also a wonderful way for families to celebrate a birthday, or commemorate a special occasion. Families choosing to participate are invited to select a book from our Ho'okele Amazon Book Fairy Wish List. Once the book is received at Ho'okele, a bookplate honoring your family's donation will be placed in the front of the book, unless the gift is anonymous. The book provides enjoyment and learning for all Ho'okele students and is a lasting contribution to our school.

How does it work?

The Book Fairy Wish List is located on Amazon.  Select the book you would like to purchase. The books are award winning books: Caldecott, Newbery, Nēnē, etc. Your book will ship directly to Ho'okele Elementary School. The book becomes a part of the permanent part of the Ho'okele Library collection for all current and future students.

Please include a note with your online shipment so we know the following:

1. Family Name

2. Birthday Student Name

3. Teacher Name

**NOTE** If there is a specific book not on our Wish List that you would like to donate instead, please, before you purchase, email: angela_ramey@hookele.k12.hi.us

We can make sure to avoid duplicate copies and also ensure that the content is age appropriate for our library.
