Renaissance

Description: The mission of the Renaissance Program is to encourage, recognize, and reward students who display amazing academic and attendance records. To qualify for the Renaissance Program, students may have no more than 2 disciplinary infractions and 2 absences during each quarter.

• In addition, students must meet one of the following criteria:

• Level 1: Unweighted quarter GPA of 3.5 or higher

• Level 2: Unweighted quarter GPA of 3.0 to 3.49

• Level 3: Unweighted quarter GPA of 2.99 or below, with an increase of .5 in GPA

Level 1 winners will be invited to an awards assembly each semester. All levels of Renaissance are eligible to receive miscellaneous prizes.

• Semester 1 awards assembly is for quarter 1.

• Semester 2 awards assembly is for quarters 2 and 3.

Eligibility requirements: None

Expected time requirements per week: 15-30 minutes

Meeting Space: Room 2114

Special Events: We run the Powder Puff games, the Student Faculty Basketball game and Special Olympics game, and volunteer/fundraise for Wimpy's Fund
