Description: The purpose of ACES is to provide interscholastic competition for students who are interested or skilled in the areas of science and engineering. Students test in two of the following areas for competition: Biology, Chemistry, Engineering Graphics, English, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics.
Eligibility requirements: Due to the rigorous academic content in the competition, people wanting to compete will benefit from having experience in AP Courses. The team is comprised of mainly juniors and seniors who have completed or are currently enrolled in an AP course associated with the above tests.
Expected time requirements per week: 2 hours per week practice plus 3 competitions
To be a part of this club: There is an informational meeting in early October, then practices will begin immediately after
