Homestead Elementary is excited to announce our 2nd Annual STEAM Showcase, where students think outside the box, explore real-world challenges, and build creative solutions using the Engineering Design Process.
This year’s theme is Upcycle the Future, “Yesterday’s scraps, tomorrow’s solutions.”
Unlike a traditional science fair, the STEAM Showcase empowers students to:
🔧 Design and build a project using recycled or repurposed materials
🌎 Solve a real-world problem creatively
💡 Share their innovative idea with families during Open House
🎤 Present their thinking in a low-stress, confidence-building format
This event is open to all grade levels (K–5) and welcomes students of every learning style—including hands-on learners, artists, builders, coders, and future engineers!
