 Term 3

This term, we are exploring numbers and how they work. We are learning to use different strategies for addition and subtraction, and beginning to understand multiplication as repeated addition and division as sharing into equal groups. We are also practising number patterns, place value, and problem-solving to build strong foundations in maths.

                                                                                      Term 2

     This term, we are exploring exciting maths concepts! Our focus areas include:

1. 1. Number knowledge – learning to count, order, and understand place value

   2. Addition and subtraction – solving problems using fun strategies

   3. Fractions – learning about halves and quarters through hands-on activities

   4. Measurement – comparing lengths, heights, and weights, and using everyday objects to measure
      
      

                                                                                       Term 1

This term, we will be focusing on Numbers and Geometry. Our learning will include counting forward and backward from 1 to 100, as well as practicing skip counting in 2s, 3s, 5s, and 10s. We will also work on solving addition and subtraction problems using different strategies. In Geometry, we will explore 2D and 3D shapes, learning to name, describe, and sort them based on their properties. Through hands-on activities, games, and real-life connections, we will build a strong foundation in maths while having fun! 🚀✨
