What is happening in Week 9?
1) Please make sure your child has a hat. The sun is very hot and a hat is needed to keep the sun off their face. Please put their name on their hat and apply sunscreen before they arrive at school. NO HAT NO PLAY! Children without a hat will have to sit in the shaded area, outside rooms 1, 2 and 3.
2) Swimming has been changed to Friday at 11:30am to 12pm. Please make sure your child has a towel and a spare pair of undies. If you would like to come down and watch your child swim, and to help with supervision, please feel free to join us.
3) We have the School ready graduation on Monday 01 Dec from 945am - 1015am. This will take place in Room 1. Tamariki will remain with me for the rest of the year and will start in Whaea Honey's classroom next year.
4) Wednesday Whole school prizegiving from 930am in the hall.

Kia Ora whānau,
A warm welcome to our new tamariki that have joined room 4 this term. We have:
Mercynuuoge Nouata-Faumuina and family. Welcome to our whānau!
Kia Ora whānau,
Breakfast club occurs in the hall from 830am. If you would like to have breakfast before coming to class, please head to the hall. Whaea Helan will assist you with breakfast to fuel you up in the morning. This is free, there is no cost at all.
Kia Ora,
Please like and follow the Homai School FACEBOOK page for regular updates. Please download the Skool Loop App. You will get updates as well on here and you may also use this App to inform the school of your child's absence.
Please get a late slip from the office if your child arrives after 9am. If you need to pick your child up early, you must get a early slip from the office and return this to me (Whaea Karen). Tamariki may leave without a slip to go home from 220pm onwards.
