Nau mai, haere mai, and welcome to the reception class. The reception class aims to ensure all tamariki are able to feel safe, secure and happy whilst at school. This can be achieved by forming positive relationships with others, by learning the routines of the day, and by gaining some independence before moving to their new entrant classroom. When children feel safe, secure and happy, learning will come naturally.
On this site, you will be able to see some of the exciting things that we do and learn whilst at school. We will also share with you all the fun events that are up and coming, important updates and helpful resources to keep you informed so that you can stay connected and involved in your child's learning journey.
