Here is the information about our class for the next academic year. In Year 5 the children will be called 'Falcons' and the adults in the class will be:

Mrs Thomson (Class Teacher)

Mrs Ridgewell (Teaching Assistant)

Mrs Jones (Teaching Assistant)

We will be staying in the same classroom that we are in now, so you don't need to worry about where you will be as we are not moving.

I look forward to seeing the Jaguars turn into Falcons!

Summer 2021

Welcome back to our class page - which can now also be used for any home messages, etc rather than dare I say it... remote learning!

Please continue in supporting your child in completing homework from their grid plus it also doubles up with a reading challenge - please ensure these are looked after and not lost as it will have a record of their completed homework and reading at home on. There is also a copy of the homework grid/ reading challenge card under the Homework tab above should you lose your copy. We are working with the children on being more independent and responsible with their time, organisation and looking after their own property - please support this by encouraging your child to not leave homework to the night before as this will also help them in Secondary school.

We are aware that for some people, reading at home has tailed off, so we are promoting and encouraging all to read more at home. I have spoken to the class several times about using our local library in the town and to get signed up for free to then have access to a huge number of books. Please try and take your child to the library as much as possible, it is a wonderful asset to the town and it would be great to see and hear children using this more and more!

Please also remind yourself what we have on this class webpage, the Maths Awards in particular. The Holy Trinity Passport (this was also handed out with reports last Summer) is also on this page situated within the homework tab. These passports are to encourage children and families to try new things whilst promoting fun, independence and life skills - please encourage your child to complete some of these activities.
