8th Grade

Anne Frank Script Analysis

Due: Tuesday, March 24, 2020

This assignment should be completed on your Google Classroom.

Directions:

  1. Finish reading Act I, Scene 3 and fill out the Summary and Theme Development worksheet. (We stopped on page 529, line 1180 of the script)
  2. Read scenes 4 and 5 and fill out the Summary and Theme Development worksheet.

I've attached a copy of the worksheet for you to fill out on Google slides. You will be working on the second slide only (make sure you're typing in the correctly labeled boxes). You may type your answers in each section by adding a text box. When looking for the development of the theme, remember you are trying to find the ways in which the characters have found the good in the situation in the scenes you are currently reading. I've also attached the link to the script to this assignment as well.

Please email me with any questions. Don't forget to turn it in when you're finished! =]

Underscored Scenes

8th grade discovered how music can affect how a scene can look and feel. They wrote original scenes, keeping a specific emotion in mind as they did so. They were then tasked with finding music to use as underscoring throughout their performance for their peers.
