Fiona Clarke has been working in TCD for over 20 years. She works as a course administrator in the Centre for Global Health. Fiona has two children aged 30 and 21 who have both been through the college systems in Dublin- Ben in TCD and Lara in UCD. Fiona also works as an Holistic Therapist and for the Child Protection Agency. Prior to working in TCD, she worked as a Community Worker for 10 years with Barnardo’s. During this time, she worked with women’s support groups and children at risk. Fiona has been working as cultural advisor for Holy Cross students since 2014 and loves it!

Maeve worked full time in Trinity from 2003 until 2017, and part time until 2020. While there she was Course Director of the Master in Social Work programme and Course Director of the Bachelor in Social Studies at different times. Her research interests included refugees and asylum seekers, social work practice in health care settings, HIV care and prevention and sexual health
Prior to working in Trinity College, she accumulated over 28 years' community work and social work practice experience. She worked as a senior medical social worker in HIV and AIDS for 15 years, and also practiced in community work settings in Dublin and London, including homelessness, housing action and community law centres. She currently sits on the boards of the Irish Refugee Council and her local Five Lamps Arts Festival, and is on the national committee of Community Gardens Ireland.
