Jen Murch - Director/CEO

I’m Jen Murch — director of Hold Fast Education Ltd., founder of the Anchorage Business Network (a hub for the brilliant, unseen businesses you never knew you couldn’t live without), Royal Navy veteran, and now a Secondary School English teacher with my very own Alternative Provision. At Hold Fast, I provide part-time, tailored support for Key Stage 4 students who face barriers to mainstream education — because every young person deserves a chance to thrive.

Education has always been my compass. My love of learning is unstoppable: I’ve completed the National Professional Qualification in Leading Behaviour and Culture, earned a Master’s in Education, and I’m now steering toward the NPQ in Headship.

I’m passionate about young people and the hidden gems of the business world. Through Anchorage, I connect with unseen businesses — those without shop fronts or footfall — bringing them into the spotlight and celebrating the essential role they play in our communities.
