The Office of Commuting Student Services and Community Outreach supports commuting students’ academic, social, and civic engagement at Hofstra. Commuting students are students who do not reside on campus, including off-campus students. The staff seeks to assist commuting students in learning how to live safely, successfully, and independently in the communities that surround the University. First-year commuting students may opt-in to be assigned to a peer mentor. The office is located in Room 221 Sondra and David S. Mack Student Center, North Campus.
