Grading Scale

Academic achievement at Hoboken Middle School is recognized by listing on the Honor Roll when the following standards are met for each type of honor:High Honors: A+, A, or A- average, with no grade lower than an 85

Honors: B+, B or B- average, with not grade lower than an 80

GRADING SCALE

A+ 99 - 100 A 93 - 98 A - 91 - 92

B+ 89 - 90 B 83 - 88 B - 81 - 82

C+ 79 - 80 C 74 - 78 C- 72 - 73

D 70 - 71 F 0 - 69

A student may be listed on the Honor Roll for any marking period in which he or she receives an "Inc" (Incomplete) for any course. If the student subsequently earns a grade in that course/subject and qualifies for the Honor Roll, he or she will be placed on the Honor Roll retroactively.
