Action plan Part 1:
Task:
Using appropriate theoretical content included in the specification, produce an overall plan of action that suggests ways to improve upon the weaknesses that have been identified as part of your analysis.
In more simple terms, use this checklist to construct your response:
State the component of fitness weakness you stated you would improve.
State the chosen training method you aim to use to improve the weakness mentioned above
Name the training method
Explain the training method and how it is carried out.
Link the training method to the component of fitness – say why this training method relevant to the component of fitness.
Recap your weakness through examples – say how will this training method improve performance.
Explain in detail how you are going to carry out the training method and the form will it take
Explain the direct effect and impact it will have on the fitness component and overall performance – state the end goal you are aiming to achieve by doing this training method.
Action plan Part 2:
In simple terms, use the checklist below to construct your answer:
State where your training session will take place. Say when and how it will occur
Explain the safety considerations. State where will your training take place, what clothes, footwear and equipment is needed. Say any personal considerations you may need to consider such as injury for example
Does youe training method need to consider heart rates: state resting and maximal heart rate (with calculations) if applicable.
Explain which training zone you plan to work in and what your HR needs to be at for this.
Based on your training method, justify the training zones you will be working in or the HR you'll need for your training plan.

Fully explain your warm up: Pulse raiser, stretching and skills WU. State what you are going to do specifically in your warm up, with any personal or safety considerations
Describe what you will do in ONE session.
Describe and show workings for training zones and use diagrams if appropriate.
Link this session to fitness weakness – muscles or movement. State how it will improve your peformance
Justify and explain how you will carry out the principles of training, show how you carry out the FITT principle.
State what you are going to do specifically in your cool down, with safety considerations.
Explain where you expect to be by the end of your training programme, suggest what will have improved. Suggest how will it affect your overall performance.
