You have an iPad and Apple laptop ready for you! Yay! Directions are on this doc to your left. Once you're logged in to your devices, please review all the tutorials below. Some are only informational; most are tasks that the video will walk you through.
We recognize that this is a lot of information. Our goal with your ed tech orientation is to not walk you through any of the platforms/apps/websites in person; instead, we have resources on this page that you can engage with at your own pace. Feel free to come back to these tutorials throughout the week, and throughout the upcoming year.

If you teach grades JK-4, Seesaw is the primary place to share activities (assignments) with students. All students JK-8 (as well as all teachers) have Seesaw accounts. While Seesaw is used heavily in lower school, many middle school faculty also use Seesaw to capture student progress.
Watch the video for a walkthrough! Also please visit the dedicated Seesaw pages for many more resources and trainings.
Your educational technology orientation concludes with becoming an Apple Teacher. This is a professional learning program designed to support educators using Apple products (iPad and Mac) for teaching and learning.
This certification is required for us to continue to be named an Apple Distinguished School. You will likely not complete this by the end of the first day of orientation, but we ask that you become an Apple Teacher by the end of orientation on Friday.
