Lesson Plans on Circular Economy:
A comprehensive educational course was developed and integrated into the curricula of partner schools. These lesson plans covered essential topics such as waste management, resource efficiency, and the benefits of a circular economy. It consists of 16 lesson plans from 4 different countries. It has been approached in 4 different ways: through art, information technology (IT), technology, and economy.
The project allowed schools to integrate comprehensive sustainability and circular economy principles into their curricula. Developing a selective course on the circular economy, consisting of lesson plans from four countries, enriched the educational offerings and provided a robust framework for future teaching.
The survey aimed to gather insights from participants about their understanding and perceptions of the circular economy. The data provides valuable information on how individuals define and perceive the circular economy, its benefits, and potential implementations.
The survey responses indicate a strong awareness and understanding of the circular economy among participants. The feedback highlights a readiness to adopt more sustainable practices and a desire for community and educational support to facilitate these changes. Implementing the suggestions from this survey could contribute significantly to advancing sustainability and the circular economy in schools and communities.

The lighthouse tour
Dijars
Yesterday was good, I really liked that we visited the old church. Though it kinda made me sick visiting the lighthouses because I'm not good with heights, it was still fun seeing the others wave down at me.
Lum
Yesterday was a fantastic day filled with adventure! We explored stunning lighthouses, visited a fascinating army museum, and even had a great time at the park. It was a perfect blend of history, culture, and nature.

Yesterday was so good we visited lighthouses and we saw a very good panorama view
We also learned a lot of new things about the old church and I liked the traditional Estonian desert.
Megan
I liked all three lighthouses, the military museum and the village where we ate. I also really liked the afternoon games.
Mayssa
I liked all the activities, but I preferred the afternoon games that allowed us to socialise and learn new words. I liked the visit to the lighthouses, the museum of the old military base, and the village where we all ate together.
Alessia
I really enjoyed the lighthouses and the view of the sea, the history of the military museum, but above all the typical Estonian games we did in the afternoon that made us know the others better.
Giulia
I loved it all day and in particular the view of the sea from above to the headlights.
I also really liked the military base and the village where we ate. Most of all I liked the afternoon games that allowed us to socialise and make friends.

I really enjoyed the day. The lighthouses was great but going up to the top was a bit hard except from that the scenery at the top was really great
Ela
Yesterday's trip around the island was entertaining. I really enjoyed the views of the lighthouses. The climbing part was tiring but it was worth it. I loved the military museum it was very interesting. The people I've met are lovely, they helped us all the time.
İlke
The lighthouses were breathtaking, I enjoyed the view so much. The soup was delicious. Wish we had more time at the military museum.
Zeynep
The lighthouses were fun to climb in my opinion and it was nice to see the scenery from up there. I really think there could've been more time for us to visit the military museum since there was lots of stuff to do there. The lunch tasted so good and it was so close to a traditional meal we also have in Türkiye. Overall, thanks for the tour, I personally really enjoyed it.
Thursday
The preparation for the conference
Friday
The 17th of May we had a conference for the schools of Hiiumaa and the local community.
Our project provided students with opportunities to lead their own sustainability initiatives. Participation in international conferences, fashion shows, and local fairs empowered them to take active roles in their communities and schools, fostering leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
Students gained a deep understanding of the circular economy, sustainable fashion, and waste reduction techniques. Workshops and practical activities equipped them with skills that are increasingly valuable in today's job market and essential for future careers in sustainability-related fields.
Our student council made a podcast about the conference in real time. It makes a great impact on the audience.
The Fashion Show "RECYCLE, REDUSE, REUSE"
It was a great show! Thanks to Cärol and the students!
You can find it out in our project trip photo album SAMP Estonia 2024!
Cooperation with partners went well, and tasks and project outputs were fulfilled.
Many new ideas emerged and there is a desire to continue with the project, as we see that the topic is broad and can be addressed in various fields.
In a world where fabric scraps and mass production are becoming an increasingly big problem, it is very important that young people are aware of the impact of their activities and see the bigger picture.
We only have one planet earth, we must learn to care for it!
