The rise of the ethical consumer:
What motivates the purchase of goods that have been produced in an ethical or sustainable way?
" Ethical consumers are informed consumers with a powerful collective voice. By expressing their views in a coordinated way, they can have a positive influence on the quest to create a more sustainable economy."
Dr Pascal Stiefenhofer, Senior Lecturer
THE GENERAL AIM IS A YOUNG PERSON´S PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
WITH A FOCUS ON DESIGN, WE CAN ELIMINATE THE CONCEPT OF WASTE...
By shifting our mindset, we can treat waste as a design flaw.
In a circular economy, a specification for any design is that the materials
re-enter the economy at the end of their use.
By doing this, we take the linear take-make-waste system
and make it
circular.
