Estonia 2023

The first meeting took place in Tallinn from March 6th to March 9th, 2023. School representatives attended the meeting. We discussed the project objectives, tasks for teachers and students, schedule, and cooperation. Various workshops were held, and we visited the Estonian Museum of Applied Art and Design. In Stella Soomlais' studio workshop, we learned about leather as a material, sustainable design, and made wristbands. A representative from Reet Aus' studio introduced the behind-the-scenes of the fashion industry, talked about the circular economy, and sustainable fashion. In the MIIBUTIIK  store workshop, we made tote bags from old jeans and learned to recycle materials.
