Project:
For the internships overall project, I am going to assist students designs for clocks. Each student will be able to make their very own clock, and with it, a unique design. I will be tasked with leading an in class lesson, on what to do and what not to do on designing a clock. I will also individually assist students with their own clock designs.
BLOG #1: I see myself growing in the community, by becoming apart of it, more and more students are feeling more comfortable asking me for assistance, and I am very much more comfortable (and less nervous around 8 year old kids) in helping them with spelling or work.
I feel more grown in how to properly assist children, rather than simply telling the answer, I try to lead them towards it.
I have made friends with more and more students.
BLOG #2: A big challenge I've faced in my Internship, is balancing assisting all the kids in the class. Mostly all of them have grown accumulated to asking me questions about spelling, or help on work.
However with that comes a lot of time taking up on just helping kids, which can be a bit distracting and taking up a lot of my time.
This week I was helping kids by having them do 1 on 1 reading tests. This was a big responsobility, as usually its just the teacher. Im very happy Ms.Nikki has let me take on this role.
