Some days I would eat in the office with everyone but on others I would have my lunch outside while walking around the neighborhood. The office is situated in a neighborhood north of downtown called Bankers hill which is filled with some of the most beautiful and historic houses in the city. A lot of times I'd stop at this one convenience store so I could get an energy drink or a snack ect.

Recent draft for the main project, I've been working on making plans for a second residence on the back of a property. In total, I've come up with about ten different plans. Out of those two were two bedrooms and the rest were one bedroom. I also had to work with limited space, rules, requirements, etc.

From my desk, I have this view of Balboa Park. On some days it turns very green usually because of the rain and it is very beautiful. Every time I needed motivation I would just look outside at the pretty scenery and it would get me back on track. Everyone in the office is very nice with Drew, Peter, Mykaela, and Sashi being there usually every day with some others stopping by throughout the month.

On the 4th week, we visited a site that Hubbell & Hubbell is currently involved with. It turns out that the foundation wasn't built very well and it needed to be re-done. The main entry area also had to be restored to its historical state. An extension to the main structure was added in the rear as well.
Intense weather
Intense weather
At around the week 4 and 5 mark, there was a series of storms that greatly affected everything in our lives including internships. Outside the office, I took this photo about 20 seconds before a small flash flood had me and several homeless people running to safety. The water was several inches high while going down the street.
