Everyone in our team made a working camera for our physics class. It consumes photo paper and takes a relatively good image for what's essentially a homemade camera. I partnered up with Josh and gathered some black tape, paint, and a coffee container. We assembled it pretty quick and like I said it takes a solid image for what it is. We ended up getting 2 photos with it. Enjoyment: 8.5/10
This was probably the most difficult and time-consuming project this semester. As a class we split up into two groups and made our own graphic novels. We made a plot, characters, images, etc. Photoshop was a massive element of this project which I was okay at. Overall pretty stressful but a satisfying end product. It took a couple weeks to make which was expected so it was never truly frustrating to make it, except for the end where we came scarily close to the deadline. Enjoyment: 7/10
Everyone in our class made a working camera of sorts for our physics class. You put it on like some kind of helmet and face the aperture to the thing you want to see. Also, you put on a black scarf to block out extra light, which is essential for the function of the "camera" It takes a little bit of practice to be able to use it but it's fun nonetheless. Enjoyment: 5/10
In math class we went to Balboa Park and took a picture of ourselves. We later placed that photo into a math graphing program called Desmos. After, we created lines with linear equations to outline our faces. I think I used about 110 equations, which took about a week of work that was pretty chill. I enjoyed making this one because it was a breath of fresh air compared to the other harder assignments that we were being given at the time. Enjoyment: 10/10
One of our first projects of the semester was making a cube with images that we made on the sides that showed something that happened in our lives. Personally, I made the images into a story of me going to the gym. To make the images, I used some legos, staples, and other office supplies. We included a tag explaining what happens in our story. Enjoyment: 8/10
One of our only writing pieces we made was for a Greek hero. We wrote about what the people of ancient Greece would value in someone, especially a warrior. I didn't think outside the box at all and just wrote for fun. We also made an image with photoshop to compliment the writing. Enjoyment: 7/10
Our first math project was an Identity Card. It contains some of our hobbies and interests. It was easy and fun to make but I look stupid in the picture I had to take for myself. Enjoyment: 7.5/10
For our Desmos Self-Portrait we were instructed to annotate 3 lines from the graph. We had to show how to solve with substitution and elimination. Overall a very difficult and tiring assignment. Certainly taught me a lot though. Enjoyment: 2/10
For our third main math project we were instructed to write a letter to math as if it was a person. I enjoyed writing this because it was a nice break from the more difficult assignments I was given at the time. Enjoyment: 10/10
