One of our projects in the first semester of 9th grade was making a short graphic novel. Our class split up into two groups for two stories and we began production by making a plot. Then we began to take photos for the scenes. After, we put the photos into photoshop and combined them into pages. Next, we checked for spelling or grammar errors and stylized the pages. Finally, we compiled the pages and printed the final product.
In my opinion, the second semester was the better one of the two this year. This is because it had a theme for all of the assignments, that being an epic journey. Speaking of the assignments, we did 11 in total. Here they are, in chronological order.
The Actos Project centered around a performance of a play that sought to address an issue that we faced as a community, ranging from bullying to drug abuse. The project as a whole consisted of the script of the play, the performance of the play, and a flyer for the play.
The project that we did for the second semester in Chemistry was dubbed "the Science of Your Future". Essentially, we were given a survey to complete and the results determined a project that we did shortly after.
