For each of the above 'apps' there are online and desktop versions. The online versions are accessed by opening your browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari) and going to office.com.

The desktop versions are downloaded and installed on your computer. They will still save to your High School account as long as you are signed in to your account on the desktop applications (see below).

You can do more in each app on the desktop versions. For example, in PowerPoint 'Design ideas' are more powerful in the desktop version than in the online version of PowerPoint.

You can download the desktop versions of the Office 365 apps from the office.com homepage.

Look for the 'Install Office' button in the top right and follow the installation steps.

Choose 'XML format' when asked
