How will Microsoft Teams be used?

This will be used by teachers in a variety of ways:

• • Communication through 'Posts'

  • Setting work and projects through 'Assignments'

  • File sharing and storage through 'Files'

  • Completion or sharing of notes or handouts through the 'Class Notebook'

How do I log in to Microsoft Teams?

To open the 'online version' of Teams:

• Open your internet browser - Edge, Chrome or Safari.

• Go to office.com

• Login using your school username and password

To open the 'desktop version' of Teams:

• Search for the app on your computer

• Make sure you are signed in to your account by clicking on the initials in the top right.

Common problems

There may be issues with signing in if a sibling's profile is already logged in. In this instance, try the following:

• • Click on 'Login in using a different account'

  • Go to browser settings to clear browsing history, including cookies and cache

  • Use another browser to login e.g. Edge, Safari, Firefox

  • Use a private browsing window (Safari) or incognito window (Chrome)
