"A Place Out of Time and Space:" Writing Workshop at the MaST with Susan Landgraf

Susan Landgraf's more than 400 poems, essays, and articles have appeared in Prarie Schooner, Poet Lore, Margie, Nimrod, Calyx, and others. What We Bury Changes the Ground was published by Tebot Bach in 2017. She currently is Poet Laureate of Auburn. A writing exercise book is forthcoming this year from Two Sylvias Press.

Erika Brumett Reading followed by a Q&A

Erika Brumett's words appear in numerous publications, including North American Review, Prarie Schooner, and Five Points. She is the winner of the RHINO 2018 Editor's Prize. Erika's novel, Scrap Metal Sky, was published in 2016 by Shape&Nature Press, and her chapbook, bonehouse, was recently released from Green Linden Press

Mark Doty and Ilya Kaminsky Reading followed by poetry writing workshop, "The House of Memory: A Poetry Workshop"


Mark Doty:

Marky Doty is a poet and memiorist and winner of numerous awards including the National Book Award for Poetry (2008). Doty's poetry examines subjects ranging from the AIDS epidemic to personal loss and grief. He currently serves as the Distinguished Professor and Writer-in-Residence in the Department of English at Rutgers University.

Ilya Kaminsky:

Ilya Kaminsky was born in Odessa, former Soviet Union in 1977 and arrived to the United States in 1993 when his family was granted asylum by the American government. Ilya is the author of Deaf Republic (Graywolf Press, 2019) and Dancing in Odessa (Tupelo Press, 2004), which won numerous awards. He writes in English and Russian and his texts have been published around the globe.
