Jake, son of Tennille Sanders, is a sophomore at Hudson Falls High School, and is in his first year of the Science Research Program. His current topic is “Using CRISPR to target antibiotic-resistant bacteria and its effect on bacteria's survival rate when exposed to antibiotics.” In his free time, he enjoys listening to music and spending time with friends and family.
Ava Ray, daughter of Brandie Ray and Kenneth Ray Jr, is a sophomore at Hudson Falls High School, and is in her first year of the Science Research Program. She is a member of the Specialty team at Bolton Dance Academy and a member of the Hudson Falls Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team. In her free time she enjoys reading, cuddling with her cats, practicing dance and lacrosse. Her current topic is “The interaction between narcissistic personality disorder and avoidant personality disorder.”
Lydia Rivers, daughter of Justin and Stephanie Rivers, is a Sophomore at Hudson Falls High School, and is in her first year of the Science Research Program. She studies singing at the Hailey Williams Studio and plays the clarinet for her school band. In her free time she loves going to church and hanging out with family and friends, and of course doing anything involving music. Her current topic is “What is the effect of individual improvisational music therapy on depression?”
Jonathan Zeno, son of Jason and Kate Zeno, is a sophomore at Hudson Falls High School, and is in his first year of the science research program. He plays football and baseball. Outside of school he likes to watch sports, spend time with family, and play videogames. His current topic is “Calculating the occurrence rate of exoplanets.”
