Sophomores

Madelynn Chadwick

Madelynn Chadwick, daughter of Amber Tucker and Richard Chadwick, is a sophomore at Hudson Falls High School, and is in her first year of the science research program. She is a part of the student council, drama club, mock trial, key club, no place for hate, set design for the drama club, partakes in junk journaling at the middle school, and she co-advises the yearbook club that is also at the middle school. She also plays clarinet for her school’s concert band, and her school’s jazz band. In her free time, she volunteers at the public library and has plans to volunteer at the Wood Theatre, Hop on Home, and the Glens Falls Senior Center. She also loves to hangout with her friends and her family, going on bike rides drawing, painting, and making bracelets. Her current topic is “Bacteria: Friends, or our enemies?”

Leyla Chapin

Leyla Chapin daughter of Raven Chapin and niece to Ryan Wescott, is a sophomore at Hudson Falls High School, and is in her first year of the science research program. She is in Key club and Mock trial. She also tries to help at the HF library by volunteering when she can. She enjoys sleeping, walking, nature, volunteering, and learning about mental health. Her topic is “Ways to help treat OCD easier for everybody”

Allyson Donnelly

Allyson Donnelly, daughter of Jessica and Jerry Donnelly, is a sophomore at Hudson Falls High School, and is in her first year of the science research program. She plays Varsity lacrosse and basketball along with Jv volleyball. She is apart of the student council and key club. In her free time she likes to hang out with friends, draw and do hair. Her topic is “ The effect that diabetes has on bone health.”

McKenna Doyle

McKenna Doyle, Daughter of Danielle Passino and Jason Doyle, is a sophomore at Hudson Falls High School, and is in her first year at the science research program. She plays soccer, indoor track, and softball. She is a part of Student council, key club, and mock trial. In her free time she enjoys baking, going on car rides, playing soccer, and spending time with friends and family. Her current topic is” How does wearing a ankle brace affect ankle injuries.”

Arianna LaPier

Arianna LaPier, daughter of Jay and Brenda LaPier, is a sophomore at Hudson Falls High School and is in her first year of science research. She is on the cheer team and loves the ocean. In her free time, she enjoys baking, studying marine biology, and spending time with her friends and family. Her current topic is “How do Human Impacts affect Marine Mammals and Ecosystems?”

Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton, daughter of Zack and Jenna Middleton, is a sophomore at Hudson Falls High School, and is in her first year of the Science Research program. She plays varsity soccer and lacrosse. Also is apart of the Specialty group at the Bolton Dance Academy. In her free time she likes to go skiing and hangout with family/friends. Her current topic is “The effect gum disease has on other systemic diseases in the body”

Reese Moskos

Reese Moskos, daughter of katelyn and John Moskos, is a sophomore at Hudson Falls High School and is in her first year of science research. She plays tennis, lacrosse and dances through the year. She is a part of student council and key club. In her free time she enjoys baking and spending time with friends. Her current topic is “The effect of seedless fruits on the environment."

Rylee Richards

Rylee Richards, daughter of Jennifer and Joseph Richards, is a sophomore at Hudson Falls High School and it is her first year of the Science Research program. She is a member of Student Council and Key Club. She plays soccer, basketball and lacrosse as-well as a summer basketball league. In her free time she likes to hang out with her friends, play sports and volunteer. Her topic is “What Secondary Effects Happen After ACL Surgery in a Girl Student-athlete.” She is hoping to continue playing more sports throughout high school.

Henry White

Henry White, son of Tyler and Kelsey White, is a sophomore at Hudson Falls High School and it is his first year of the Science Research Program. He plays soccer, baseball, and hockey. In his free time he enjoys, spending time with family and friends, playing video games, and watch TV. His current topic is “Type 1 Diabetes and the Molecules Involved”.
