When practicing the T sound, lift your tongue up and touch the tip of your tongue to the alveolar ridge, or that bumpy part on the roof of your mouth behind your top teeth.

Below are some words with T to practice. The first list contains words that begin with the T sound. Practice saying each word correctly. Remember, touch the tip of your tongue to the bumpy part of the roof of your mouth. Practice each set of words for 5-10 minutes each day, or whenever possible.
