When practicing the L sound, be sure to place your tongue up behind your front teeth! Practice saying the sound in front of a mirror to make sure your tongue is up behind your front teeth.
Below are some words with L to practice. The first list contains words that begin with the L sound. Practice saying each word correctly. Remember, place your tongue up behind your front teeth! Practice each set of words for 5-10 minutes each day, or whenever possible.
