When practicing the K sound, be sure to place the back of your tongue all the way up to the soft palate, or the area towards the back of your mouth.

Below are some words with K to practice. The first list contains words that begin with the K sound. Practice saying each word correctly. Remember, place the back of your tongue up towards the soft palate, or back of your mouth! Practice each set of words for 5-10 minutes each day, or whenever possible.
